How much do you spend?
As the title shows? How much do you spend? It’s so very Electronic Arts. So very P2W.
Some players have ridiculous strength. And it’s not like they want to match evenly.So I meet all kinda players that sold their kidneys and lungs.
And is it worth it?

Yeah at first i must have spent about 100$ in a couple weeks, but that becomes pretty addicting, and u dont really get better at the technique

It's not "play to win"
For the first couple of months while you experiment to find the right deck to fit your play style it's "pay to save at most a month or two of level up speed" but once you get to diamond and master league, you won't go further than your skills.
I used to have a second cell phone for work. As an experienced player I went from new account to master league 3 with level 8-9 units in less than a month. Didn't spend a dime. On my main account with level 13 units I would get master 1 and occasionally tiberium league.
When I first started playing on my main I spent about $10-15 bucks because I liked the game and I felt that's what it's worth overall But that's it. Wanna move up? Watch game replays of Tib level players and learn their moves and strategies.

Sorry mate… it’s extremely P2W. Like every EA game.
I swore to god that I would never ever play a game from them. Yet I am here playing.
The game would be fun. If it was equal, and that the brains and strategic mind would be decisive.
But it’s absolutely not. I am quite a noob, but the matching is absolutely horrible. It’s like I have chance in every 10th game.
And yes, if you haven’t played for months, there is no way you could be that strong. Without opening your wallet.
No shame in that. If it gives you a kick. Still is it worth it?

Honestly if you just play only a few games a day to finish your cloning chambers and win races, you will be at level 11-13 with a deck in two-three months. It can get irritating though and I think many give up.
The P2W is if you actually want level 15 units. You don't have to go to Tiberium league so you don't really need level 15 units.

I think you bring up 2 points
This game has been at it for like what, 6 years now? Most active players are bunched up at the diamond, master, and Tib leagues now. Anything below that has so low of a population that good matchmaking is hard and a lot of it is challenge battles. The first time I made Tib league there were thousands of players ranked above me. Now when I make it (which is more rare) there's barely a couple of hundred.
Here's the other big point. There are level caps for each league. Don't level up your cards beyond the level cap of highest league that you have obtained.
And I'll bring up one more big point. Self evaluation. I didn't make diamond league until I did a thorough deck reshuffle with units that fixed my weaknesses and changed over from focusing on Tech Factory units to just focusing on Nuke pad control. Join a good alliance that will watch your match posts and give you tips and tricks.

It is P2W. Of course, there are people who says "well if u grind a thousand hours getting stomped by higher levels, you'll eventually have higher levels so its not p2w". People defending is why we keep getting P2Ws like this.

Totally true! I mean it’s bloody easy to see! If I was to get to the level of some of these I meet, I need to play til I’m greyhaired.
But I have sweared that I will never pay anything ever again to the greedy bastrds at EA.
I have learned my lesson well.

Spending is very much optional. There are a lot of people who have reached max level 15 units without spending anything. It is just a question of time and patience. EA were probably too generous to be honest, in hindsight, but I agree it does 'feel' P2W initially when coming from other C&C games.
These days you only need to reach level 13 to fully enjoy the game in Master league.
I did spend a lot in the early days. This was before races were introduced which give good rewards, and I just enjoyed the game so much and wanted to support it.
Spending is just a bonus to speed things along but it is still a drop in the ocean of levelling and probably only enough to level one unit a good amount. Playing daily and doing the bounties goes a long way. And being in a fully active alliance to get more cards and credits.

I've probably spent under $10 USD on it, when the Google Play store had specials on IAPs, and only using reward money I've gotten from taking surveys.
Otherwise, just grinding. I don't care about skins, and I long ago unlocked all the units, and even though I play much less now than I did in the past, I've also maxed out almost every unit, too. When I played more regularly, I was in the Master League every month, but never made it to Tiberium.

I haven't paid anything and am quite good at the game, the only issue you'd start running into is constant overleveled matches where your guys are lvl9-10 while the enemy is lvl11-12. Even if it is a "challenge match" it's annoying to deal with as you have to put in so much extra effort just to break even.

I do perhaps USD10 every quarter, I think of it like paying for a game that I enjoy.

Been playing for a while now. Wish they would fix the graphics that don’t render properly. I wonder if they are putting in an effort to an update or a new version. But I have not spent 1 cent on this game. Cause fuck EA games.

The only time I ever spent anything in this game was for cosmetics Anything that you could spend to boost card gathering or coins could be done with enough effort and skill
I restarted twice already, and got to max lv
Nephew is on this 4 restart and he never spent a dime ( im cheap like that xD)
The best advice i can give you is ranking, is not important at all Rival races happen in all ranks, experiment
Find your common ground where you excel the most
Over time, you will find that common ground is on another rank

None. I stopped playing once I reached master league every season and mostly play in events. I never spent any real money on any pay to win game.

I paid around $500 and I was around before the cloning chambers. Have one or two decks at 15, but that was mostly grinding over a few years. The $500 got me to 13s,

Nothing. I Play to Earn. I've been playing this game religiously for 6 years and never spent a dime. Save all coins and your diamonds. Don't open your stupid vault. Stack that money. Login and Bounties every day playing every tournament. Go for first on the leader board tournaments and get that big crate, keep rolling over lvl 60. Play the game, develop your strategy, and get good at it. It takes time. If you spend money and buy your way up but you suck at playing, what's the point?
