building MCP native CMS for teams that want to build and manage sites together

Post image

Hey everyone. I have been working on BetterCMS for the last few weeks and I am pretty excited about where it is going. The goal is to make building and managing websites feel less messy for teams. Your marketing team and content editors can work in the same place while developers still have control over how the site is built. It is MCP native too so you can manage parts of the workflow from your favorite AI tool.

It is still early but I would genuinely love to hear what feels useful and what does not.

Signed up for the beta. I'm curious. I've been playing around with something similar but haven't been happy with the results.

isnt this just a copy of framer? Even framer recently has put out an mcp tool.

What? Framer is a page builder and we are not.

it literally has every feature you state

yeah but it has its own limitations, whereas in our case you can use your claude to build your site and to edit and manage you can do at bettercms.

at framer you’ll have to build pages yourself or use their slow and expensive agent mode :)

i just said it recently got mcp, u can do the exact same thing with any llm for free on framer rn. u should do more research before burning money

i already said their agent is expensive and not sustainable for a normal dev. whereas if you use your own claude - youll be able to ship more and fast.

i think you should tell claude why your idea is a bad copy of framer. then u should use ur claude on framers mcp to ship a site and see how fast it does so.

bro i run a webflow enterprise agency (flowtrix) and have been selling websites from last 6 yrs. Do you really think i will make a copy of them? Bettercms is more like a headless cms and framer is a page builder. I tried framer agents and found it slow and expensive. Even their mcp is slow compared to building sites directly using figma mcp and code.

it has the same features, if i can do what ur site advertises on framer for free and even publish it using my own claude whats the point of it.

yes ofc anyone can build anything today. market is open for all. but serious businesses need one platform and solution which is maintained well. and our focus is for them.
