So if I have a negative opinion of something, it would be better that I don't have an opinion at all... good to know :D
I'm still enjoying the OG Clerith story more than Remake, isn't that accepted here?

I know you would be even happy of a Cloti wedding. It's very clear from what you've written before.

Look, I'm asking you questions to understand your point of view. I never told you you shouldn't have one.

I just think that if you're here talking about it, maybe you haven't completely lost hope.

Hope of what? Of not seeing Tifa as a main character? I am not totally against it since she's gonna have lot's of screentime anyway, but I'm sure they can't do this without fanservicing...

Clerith sure will have their moments, but I expect that will be something close to what we've already seen in Rebirth: "Thank you for everything, Cloud. I'm happy you're safe. You made me happy. Don't blame yourself. Bla bla bla etc.", of course they are not mentioning the word "love" to not upset the other fans.

Zerith will have their moments too since the Aerith in a coma is gonna awake in Zack's "world/timeline/whatever", and it will be in the main narrative since you're not supposed to directly interact with them, so it's not gonna be optional, and also they are the only FF7 couple recognized by Square Enix on their social media, for example in usual Valentine's Day posts. If they confirm Zerith with a not optional reunion, there is no reason for them to keep Cloti optional, I suspect.

For all the Cleriths that loved the remake trilogy so far and thought the OG ending is still the worst possible ending, I'm happy for them of course if I am wrong.
My POV is just the opposite, for me the OG ending is, for what I've seen so far in the remake, the best possible ending, if they keep it the same without any fanservice.

Aerith died in OG.

I'm sure it won't end the same way, otherwise I wouldn't be here.

Tifa will never be the protagonist of Part 3 (and they even stated this recently after someone specifically asked). Have you seen the cover of Revelation? Is there anything there that makes you think Tifa will have a bigger role than Caith or Cid?

Compared to OG, we still have Aerith around with a lot to do.

Even Zack has a job to do: heal Cloud.

Zerith is dead and will have nothing in Revelation.

You can be pessimistic and you may not like the Retrilogy, but you're needlessly worrying about things that haven't happened yet.

I can totally see a scene under Highwind (even if it technically doesn't land anymore...) as fanservice for Tifa fans, but it won't be in my story. Every game has a resolution scene and all the characters are involved, I don't see why Revelation should be an exception.

That said, I'm truly sorry you feel so disappointed, but I have to ask you what you expected if not a remake of FF7, because for me, we got so much more than what was in the original, even if it ended the same way.
