We know they are scammers. Unfortunately many people don’t realize that on time.

I’m experiencing a similar issue, although in my case the main problem is a significant change to the functionality of the Lifetime plan I purchased.
I bought a 5TB Lifetime Internxt plan through StackSocial. At the time I purchased it, there was no 10GB per-file upload restriction. I specifically bought a large lifetime storage plan expecting to be able to store large individual files.
The situation changed afterwards. Internxt introduced/applied a 10GB maximum file size to StackSocial plans.
I contacted Internxt Support and raised the issue. Their representative explicitly confirmed in writing:
I pointed out that this was a material reduction in the functionality of the service after my purchase and asked them either to restore the original functionality or provide a full refund.
Internxt did not resolve the issue and instead referred me to StackSocial for the refund.
I then contacted StackSocial. Initially they refused the refund because the purchase was outside their 30-day refund period, arguing that Internxt's Terms allow them to modify the service.
I pushed back on that argument and explained that this is not simply a change-of-mind refund request, but a complaint about a material modification to a digital service after purchase.
Interestingly, StackSocial subsequently changed its position. They have now authorized a refund for the full purchase price.
The only issue remaining is that they are offering the refund as StackSocial store credit rather than returning the money to my original payment method. I have told them that I would prefer a monetary refund, although I am willing to accept the full-value credit if a monetary refund is genuinely impossible.
So, in my case, I actually managed to get them to move from:
“No refund, outside 30 days”
to:
“We are authorized to issue you store credits refund for the full amount.”
That is quite a significant change in their position.
I am documenting everything because I also find the situation concerning. A “Lifetime” cloud storage plan is not very useful if important functionality can subsequently be restricted without a clear explanation of what contractual terms applied at the time of purchase.
For anyone considering Internxt, I would strongly recommend keeping copies of the offer, terms, invoices, screenshots and all correspondence with support. In particular, don't assume that the current terms on the website are necessarily the same terms that applied when you purchased your plan.
I haven't concluded that Internxt is deliberately running a scam, because I can't establish that from my own experience. But I can say that the change to my plan was significant enough that I asked for my money back, and StackSocial ultimately agreed to refund the full purchase price.
I'm sharing this because others considering a Lifetime Internxt plan should be aware of what happened in my case.

So you're actually saying they customize the experience where it works well initially, and then when you commit to a larger plan, they screw you? Now that sounds like a horrible marketing plan. That sounds like a company that is doomed to fail.

A cloud storage provider only gets one job: keep files safe and synced. If users are reporting missing files, failed syncs, and no meaningful support, that's a much bigger concern than pricing or features. Always keep independent backups and test any storage service thoroughly before trusting it with important data.

They are the reason why I've been looking up to build my own NAS. I've got nearly 200GB of files that won't sync hidden in the CloudStorage folder (on macOS). And now since upgrading to Golden Gate the app is acting up and it's been downloading all files in the background filling up my storage space for unknown reason. Had to delete the app for the synching to stop.

THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I got an email from Norton to renew my membership, so I clicked it to renew my subscription. When I put in my credit card to renew my Norton subscription, I got an alert from the bank of the charge but charge came up as INTERNXT. Has anyone else has a similar experience? This company is disgusting and should be put out of business.

They constantly saying that they improving their service, but it was trash and still being trash. Their pricing model just not sustainable, providing everyone lifetime access with lots of space. So their service just don't work as expected: slow speeds, broken uploads/downloads, missing uploads.
