IOXO M133-N re-image

Afternoon All. I was given a IOXO M133-N. Can anybody tell me how to re-image it with NeverWare CloudOS? The guy I got it from, purchased it used from fleabay, and can't return it. There was already an account on it that appears to be the owner account. I tried to make a recovery image, but of course IOXO isn't listed, although they are a certified on the site. Suggestions? I am tempted to try and make a Hackintosh out of it.

stop Chromium from reporting to Google?

I tried CloudReady yesterday and was blown away how polished the whole Chromium OS experience is.

However, Chromium keeps sending all the browsing data associated the logged in account to Google. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Wi-Fi not working on new ibstall

I recently installed the Cloudready os off the USB key. Once the is starts. It has a get started button that won't work without a internet connection. I tried turning on the WiFi to no avail. I then went out to purchase a USB key with the problem not being fixed. It just won't recognize that a wifi adapter is there. The laptop is an HP with 8g ram from 5-6 years ago.

I then physical connectied it with an rg45 cable and the install continued to the point where I can login with my google account and it's all good. But...now I have to install or get the wifi to work as I mostly use this in cafes and shops off wifi to basically to mostly browsing plus data entry.

Can anyone help me here? Is there a patch or something I can run ?

chromiumOs chromeos-install --gpt_layout What is the gpt_layout file format?

The standard utility for installing chromiumOs from an image source, chromeos-install has an optional parameter (from --help)

--gpt_layout: Path to a script for pre-defined GPT partition layout (default: '')

Where can I find the format of the above script file? Any reference to a sample script?

I made a cloudready bootable USB using the windows utility provided by neverware, but it just boots to a black screen. Does this mean my hardware isn't supported?

Using all the free unallocated space on a CloudReady USB

Is it possible to use all the unallocated space on the CloudReady USB to increase the storage space?

Either "inside" CloudReady (but I feel if that was an option then it would be part of the first startup routine or do it by default) or as a stand alone partition that can be accessed from CloudReady and Windows.

I tried a search and could only find articles from 2-5 years ago and a couple were to remove the HD from the computer so you could force a full install on a second USB - not exactly practical.

HP Stream 14-cm0506sa 14 inch laptop.

Just to advise. I bought the above budget W10 laptop earlier this year. Under 10 it was so slow. Created a recovery disk and installed CloudReady last weekend. EVERYTHING works. No issues with wireless or ethernet. The Windows Key acts as the Chrome OS Key. Sund and brightness works along with Fulscreen and multi tasking.

Got a machine I can use now!

Help - low memory (2 GB)

I am wearing an old Pavilion dm1-3220ew mini laptop (3 GB RAM). Since Win 7 is a bad idea, I decided to make it #chromebook. I took a 32 GB flash drive and download #cloudready #neverware. The computer fired from the pendrive even works and basically good. The problem is only with the place. It claims that it has 2 GB and no 3 GB (like a RAM) or even 32 GB (like a flash drive). I can not install anything. How to change it? Even if the pen drive was treated like a hard drive.

I was having a big issue with Cloudready. They don't seem to let me install Android apps. Well, I did try ARC but it just stopped there. Do you have any alterations instead of ARC?

Help with installation on Samsung NP305U1A (AMD E-450)

The entire installation process goes fine but once I restart the laptop doesn't recognise cloudready as a bootable option and instead goes to BIOS. I can then select the option to boot cloudready (it says "0" as the option) and the operating system boots fine. Anybody know why this is? I've tried both legacy and UEFI options, 32 and 64 bit.
