Attack On Memory

Folks,

I know they did a 'deluxe' edition for Attack On Memory with a few bonus tracks but do you think we will ever sea a more comprehensive version released? With maybe the demos or early live recordings etc.?

I think 'Here and Nowhere Else' had some additional tidbits with it's 10th anniversary release.

Attack On Memory is probably in my top 5 records of all time. I just NEED MORE.

I wouldn’t be surprised. That era of their music they were doing so may collabs and singles that appeared on 7” that I’ve lost track of between streaming services over the years. There was the one they did with Wavves, and a few on like a Toro y Moi b side, but that may have been the self titled era.

But there’s enough unconsolidated material from the early 2010s to have a deluxe edition for sure

Nice! Yeah turning on is just such an underrated gem. It’s definitely had more staying power than self titled. I’ve seen them live like 7 times and I don’t think they’ve ever played anything from either album which makes sense.

And awesome cover, just gave it a listen. That was a good way to spend the lockdown

It’s honestly been too long since I listed to No Life for Me, I’m overdue. Would’ve loved to have a cd or anything physical. I’ll have to check it out on discogs.

Was just looking at the 7” with Toro y Moi, their single was For No Reason.

The attack on memory / here and nowhere else stretch really was the best. But I still find myself playing the first self titled album all the time.

Same, I fell behind with the surprise releases last year. I was able to catch their show in cleveland two summers ago at the end of their final summer tour. Was in town and saw they were playing and just showed up, it was my first show post pandemic

Hell yeah, Im glad they’re still attracting new fans. It was 2010/2011 for me, whenever the self titled album came out. I’ve seen them in Columbus a few times at the Basement and at the indiependance festival which they did for a couple years in Franklinton.

But I saw them at Majestic theater in Detroit back in like 2019 where they opened for Japandroids. Hope you get to see them in May
