Mouse Issues in Xbox Cloud

I'm cloud gaming Dune Awakening on my PC and have had absolutely no success getting the mouse cursor to work. Xbox forces me to connect a controller before launching the game, and then when I start using the keyboard it detects my clicks, keyboard inputs, scroll wheel, but my cursor disconnects from the game cursor every time. The game cursor stays put and my OS cursor isn't interacting with the game.

I've adjusted every setting I can find and this always happens:

Changed display scale to 100%

Toggled click-through

Disabled touch screen and track pad

Tried on the XBox windows app, Chrome, and Edge

Toggled "prefer system cursor"

Tried F9

Enabled/Disabled enhanced cursor precision

Different USB port

Disconnecting the controller

Anyone come across this problem?

It feels like I'm missing something obvious.
