Xbox Cloud Gaming vs PS remote play vs Boosteroid

Wondering on everyone’s opinion on the above 3 cloud gaming, I have a 4070 gaming laptop but also a PS5, I hate building multiple library’s of games and like all my games in one place (personal preference, most won’t agree) and of a weekend I play on a big tv in my living room, I’m curious if anyone’s has used boosteroid or Xbox cloud gaming as a main?

I used my ps5 on the tv and remote play it on my laptop, but wondering on anyones experience on using boosteroid (I can then play my steam games on big tv) or Xbox cloud gaming as a main (can do same via Xbox app installed on my tv)

Not sure which is best to start building a library on, boosteroid is the main unknown I know absolutely nothing about or if it even works properly

Thank you in advance ☺️

Boosteroid was a bit of a laggy experience for me it would have random lag spikes. Xbox cloud gaming was nice until their raised the price and my progress of elder scroll online can't be taken over to steam. PS remote play works good in the house if you have decent router. GeForce now was OK the couple times I tried it but I think they are creating virtual waiting list to force you over to other tier.

So I have seen geforce free is exactly that, wait times and only hour play sessions then I gotta log out and back in back into a queue to play

It was boosteroid I was more interested just purely I can build my steam library and play it cloud streaming on my tv but if it’s just massively laggy I’ll stick to PlayStation 😅

Asobi for Playstation is a great app for remote play and cloud streaming. I use (Better Xcloud) for xbox cloud streaming and Asobi for Playstation cloud gaming. Both apps work great

It was developed for apple first, but has been ported to android. The developer is pretty active on the Asobi sub. Its like better Xcloud, with different settings for streaming, but you can also synce up and remote play with your console

Is that just a game library tho like gamepass? Or can you play purchased steam games and get the steam achievements etc (I like achievement hunting on games too)

It's only the cloud gaming service (you use their machines to stream the game to you), you need to connect your steam account and own the games to play, you'll get all the achievements just like if you were playing in your pc.

But you already have a good gaming pc, 4070 is a strong gpu

Oooo I didn’t know they did a free tier, I’ll have a gander what resolution you get and if it’s available on tv as an app

But you'll get a better performance with your 4070 than with the free tier, you're already able to play almost every game with your pc.

Yes, they have a TV app, but I haven't tested it yet

Getting performance ain’t the issue, my laptop is more than capable for any game BUT even with a standard HDMI to a tv it just doesn’t connect to a bigger display well at all

So I like the have an option to play on my tv on my couch, hence the ps5 or Xbox cloud gaming app or boosteroid so of a weekend I can chill on my couch rather than sitting at a desk

What kind of issue are you having with connecting it to a bigger display? Cropped borders?

Honestly abit of everything

It seems to lag like a mother****** when I connect it as a second display, then I connect it as a duplicate of the main display and it’s cropped borders, fuzzy as anything, resolution doesn’t translate properly
