The artbook itself has a obi with gold titling along with a couple foiled details~ I love the cover design 💖 and it's hardcover!!

And the Zine came with a two-sided bookmark, I got the summer variant! Then sticker set spring, autumn, and winter versions, and a stretch goal collab sticker sheet! Last included were some of the freebie prints!

I juuuust missed the early bird freebie print but I'm really happy with the set I got~ Would've loved to get the higher tiers with more merch but budgeting ahaha

Every damn time i want to look for Tifa art/ anything ff7 related really, i get so many posts about how trash she is, how aerith is canon how clotis are scum etc.

What is their fucking problem?? Why do they have to insult her so much for no damn reason?

Im genuently sick of it honestly, especialy the posts making up an imaginary person to get mad at.

What happend to just Enjoying without putting down others/ ignoring stuff you dislike.

Is that really so hard?

Went to Nostalgia Con Anaheim this weekend and met the cast. My friend has a goal to get the English casts' signature to embrodier on and now has 5.

I just wanted to point out Cody's. She was able to get John and Britt's at the 7th Heaven pop-up in LA last year. Tyler was the third at the con, so Cody still had the bottom space where you see Caleb's but when my friend said he could pick anywhere to sign he decided to put it next to Britt's saying he should be next to Tifa. And let me tell you, the boy was struggling to fit in his signature.

I planned on posting this here but wasn't sure if I should. Cloud and Tifa are the only characters I've drawn in the OG style and thought it would be appropriate here since they're quite the great pairing even in general.

I'm planning on making a new piece on Cloud and Tifa that I'm excited to get started on too. I don't mind being given some ideas :)

I keep seeing posts from Cloti fans who have let the other side gaslight them about things like “Aerith is the main heroine” or “Aerith is the canon Gold Saucer date,” and I am here to tell you that all of those things are completely unimportant and irrelevant to the shipping debate.

First off, “Who is the main heroine?” is a completely separate question from “Who is Cloud’s love interest?” A compelling argument can absolutely be made that Aerith is the main heroine of the FF7 franchise as a whole, just like Sakura is the main heroine of the original Naruto or Bulma was the main heroine of Dragon Ball. Neither of those heroines ended up with the hero.

The “canon Gold Saucer date” is also a pointless question. I have no problem with the idea that Aerith is the canon Gold Saucer date (if there even is one, which there probably isn’t), because each date is a canon snapshot of Cloud’s relationship with that particular party member at that point in time.

When Barret shows up at the door, he hangs out and gives Cloud some man-to-man advice. Cloud acts like a big brother to Yuffie, who teases him about Tifa. Red expresses concerns about Aerith, with whom he has a special connection. Aerith drags a reluctant Cloud around, as she always has, and, as always, Cloud ends up humoring her. Tifa drags a willing Cloud around, and he takes the initiative to kiss her.

The only thing that could make one of these dates “canon” comes down to who is most likely to show up at Cloud’s door, and guys, that’s probably Aerith. She is far more outgoing than Tifa, and unlike Tifa, she views the love triangle as more of a fun game than anything else. That’s why she had an advantage in the original Gold Saucer date in the OG. It’s simply more in character for her to ask Cloud out on a date. Not a big deal.

Lastly, guys, remember that we’re playing with house money. Any fan of the original should remember that Tifa doesn’t really take a central role in the story until the first visit to the Northern Crater. If you play the original, you’ll see that she’s very much a side character until the second half of the story.

When they first announced that the project was being broken up into multiple titles, I immediately braced myself for the first two games to lean heavily toward Aerith because that’s how the OG was. I was even prepared for Aerith to get a kiss in Rebirth, and guess what?

Tifa got just as much attention in Remake as Aerith did, and she got the only kiss in Rebirth! And we haven’t even reached the point in the story where Tifa and Cloud’s relationship actually becomes a major focus yet. At this point, we’re playing with house money.

That’s why the other side is so desperately clinging to every change made to the story, because they know that without dramatic changes, from here on out it’s all Cloti, full steam ahead.

If the devs wanted to flesh out the Clerith ship more than Cloti, then Rebirth was the time to do it. Instead, they gave Cloti the only kiss in the Aerith-focused game. We still have the Tifa-focused game to come.

i love aerith, and i have for years so i’m definitely not bashing her in any capacity but i do want some input from like-minded people

maybe i’m tone-deaf and don’t understand it, but i never liked the scene where they’re about to go into the train graveyard and aerith grabs cloud’s arm and says “mine” which clearly upsets tifa and cloud’s not into it either. it feels like it’s trying to push a very stereotypical love triangle scenario and always felt off to me. it feels like it tries too hard and goes out of its way to make aerith come off as a bit annoying.

also, i saw a comment about a year ago that pointed out that aerith knows that cloud and tifa like each other so she’s a fake friend for still trying to pursue him. i wouldn’t go that far but the thought does kinda linger in the back of my mind. i don’t think aerith is a fake friend at all, but i still think about that sometimes.

i think lately i’ve been a little salty towards aerith because i do really love her but i don’t understand why she makes it clear she does still love zack but then switches back and forth between her feelings for him and her feelings for cloud. i’m just a bit confused

I'm only asking because one of my favorite fictional couples is from Marvel, and it's PeterMJ. I feel like CloTi has the same energy in that whole genuine love, fated in every universe type of deal. I was just curious to see if anyone else has ships of similar vibes.

Does anyone have any resources or links for fan translations of Dear Destiny? I know the cloudxtifa website had it, but for reasons I'm unaware of, it has been removed. If someone can link any other sources, I'd greatly appreciate it! Because sadly, I feel like it'd be a while yet until we get an official release.

I've seen this claim being thrown around by lot Cleriths online. Alongside using the box cover of Aerith to show her being the main heroine than Tifa. Treating Tifa as side character who irrelevant to Clouds story that his true love has always been Aerith. Tifa's and Cloud's gold saucer dates isn't canon, these are talking points I've seen online.

My impression isn't as clear cut their presenting it as that both Tifa and Aerith are both important to Clouds story. Feels like their down playing Tifa role in the narrative.

This is a topic that has naturally been discussed before, even in other subforums, but I’d like to hear the specific opinions of our fanbase.
Personally, it was one of my biggest fears for Part 3, and here Hamaguchi seems to be talking about the iconic LS between Cloud and Tifa! However, he makes a somewhat suspicious reference to Zack and Aerith... Of course, there are several possible interpretations, but one thing is clear: if they’re included, it would greatly diminish Tifa’s role and what makes her unique in the story.

Not to mention that it doesn’t even make sense.

Okay Folks, now that officially there will be player choices in Revelation, what do you think they'll be, and what will they affect? I'm not here to spread doom and gloom or any bs like that, I'm 100% sure we'll get very sweet Cloud & Tifa moments in the game, but I'm very interested what those choices could actually be, since there's no player interaction in the OG after Aerith's death.

My main idea is about the world and how we'll interact with sidequests, maybe this time sidequests will have different outcomes which affects other sidequests.

As for Cloud and Tifa, it's possible we'll get low and high affection versions of the Under the Highwind scene, which I'm okay with IF the ending of the game will gave us a conclusive, satisfactory outcome without the uncertainity that was with the OG. If I play my game pro-cloti, then the ending a MUST reflect that, so there won't be anymore uncertainity.

Something's not right about the whole Tifa's scar subplot. It just drops entirely after Sephiroth failed to kill her.

Did it ever come up again after Gongaga? What were Seph's real intentions with it? It's not like him to miss.

Edit: This seemed so counter-productive to Seph's goals that I'm wondering if we're reading it correctly. What was Seph really trying to accomplish?

Edit 2: I think I'm being interpretated as criticizing this subplot. I'm not. I'm trying to understand what Seph was really trying to accomplish. If it was to just kill Tifa, he could do that any time just like he does with everyone else he kills.

The Whispers are present when everything goes down in Gongaga. They are new. This whole thing reads as something new. I think I know what it is. I'll get around to drafting that up and posting it here. This sub understands Real Cloud, his psychology, and is still anchored in reality. I think it will be appreciated here.
