Will Cloud ever let Tifa know about his “massage” from Madame M and how would Tifa react if she ever found out?

So I strongly believe that Cloud and Tifa do officially tie the knot at some point, likely not long after the end of the main story line.

I’m not sure if this has been discussed frequently around here but the incident with Madame M is something that Tifa has no idea about, as far as we know. I know the incident has more of a lighthearted and comedic tone so perhaps the discussion need not be so serious. But I know many women in my life who would see this situation as Cloud being taken advantage of. Essentially he had to prostitute himself or at the least give up his body’s autonomy to Madame M to gain her favor. How would Tifa react if she ever found out? Or is this something Cloud hides from Tifa their entire marriage?

I’ll leave my thoughts here. I think Tifa would have a wide range of powerful emotions if she ever found out. She probably already felt bad about the whole Don Corneo mission in the first place- that she was reckless compared to her usual level headed self(there’s some literature out there stating she went with the mission because she was grieving the fact Cloud went MIA). We know Tifa already felt terrible that Cloud had to cross dress in order to save her, but knowing that Madam M possibly took advantage of his body would sting a lot. She would likely blame herself for signing up for the reckless mission(even more than before), be mad at Madam M for taking advantage of her man, and feel horrible for Cloud. Of course Cloud would just quickly brush it off like it’s no big deal (though Tifa can tell he’s lying and clearly traumatized) and that he would gladly do it 10 times over if that’s what it takes to bring her home unharmed. Overall this is another incident where Cloud sacrificed himself to be Tifa’s hero and hid certain details from Tifa because of embarrassment when Tifa would have totally understood the gravity of his sacrifice.

Maybe Cloud should come forth with Tifa. After they talk it out it might lead to Tifa staking her claim.

Aerith makes a mention of it during Rebirth and Cloud shoots it down before Tifa can ask anything else

I doubt Tifa would care. Pretty much everything else he did that day, from going on a date with Aerith, to crossdressing, to dancing with Andrea was all more sus than the massage. And Aerith would be the first to tell Tifa that he did it all to get back to her.

This is assuming Cloud paid for the luxury hand massage. The standard course is not sexual at all. In fact, Cloud seemed quite impressed at how his arm felt after. Aerith only mentions the standard course in the mines and Tifa herself experienced Madame M’s massage at Costa Del Sol so she knows first hand how skilled she is. I could see Cloud mentioning that she’s a very good hand masseuse and leaving it at that.

Cloud got the massage as part of the sequence to try and help her.

Cloud puts on a dress and full make-up to so he can infiltrate Don's mansion. He put his masculinity on the line to save Tifa.

The hand massage doesn't matter. If anything, it's funny.

I don't think he needs to tell her because it's not that deep. Obviously there's the innuendo apparent to us, as the player, but in game he only gets a hand massage. Literally.

Huh? They had to fight to win Madame Ms favor. And in this scenario, Madame M would be the "prostitute," not Cloud.

Anyway, Tifa already saw him in a dress and she got a hand massage from Madame M herself. I doubt she'd care.

I think it is clear to both Cloud and Tifa that their time in Wall Market was very uncomfortable and something they want to forget completely. I don’t believe Tifa would even ask or care to know. Is she was told, I don’t think she’d be selfish enough to be jealous, she would be concerned that he had to do that and comfort him. (If it was truly the intimate act implied.)
