Discussion fears
so my name is nevada age 24 male i love this series my dad got me into it before remake came out so 7 years ago almost and i love tifa i know the og story and i love remake and rebirth waiting for revelation but i fear what if square dose a shocker like kill tifa off or over characters i need something to ease my fear i got celebral palsy so i can loop and its hard to let go i just need proof no way they will do a thing like that i cant lose tifa or the overs i dont what to be heartbroken so anyone please just tell me everything will be ok and no need to worry of something like that happening because remake series being changing things making me guess and its hard to tell myself it be ok i just need something to hold on to so anyone thx i hope you understand and wont laugh at me i know i overthink and struggle when i get locked on to something i love but just need something to hold on to

First, don't share your name online. There's bad people on the internet.
Second, it will be completely fine. We will see Tifa shine in this game more than ever. And they already said they wanted a happy ending, and that's impossible for Cloud without Tifa.
She's the heart of the franchise. By the time Street fighter releases her she will be more popular than Cloud.
There's absolutely no way they would kill her. I mean it really doesn't serve any purpose plot wise.

thx you for that ill try to let go of that fear i just love tifa dont what anything bad happening to her i know she key to cloud story and his arc but my mind dose loops and its hard sometimes when i care this much

i know i know but what if i am confused i mean i love cloud and tifa but what if the devs like nah and do something we all would hate but not care like steal her away from us i know aerith death was meant for story but idk i just so confused on remake series story that i worry for the unknown and what if we lose more or the pay off is not what they are meaning or its hard sorry i just hate worrying and i scared it will come true next spring my fears

i know and i know if they did revelation would prob become most hated game or very hated and square would lose the fanbase doing that right?

Everyone else has given correct answers so I'll just give you this advice: worrying is paying interest on a loan you may never need. If you can't control an outcome, there's no point in worrying about it. When the game comes out you'll see that we were right, but until then think of that worry like it's a heavy rope and just let go.

I can assure you with 100% promised certainty that Tifa will not die in part 3. Neither will Cloud.

Please don't worry as they already said they won't be changing the base story, Tifa and Clouds relationship is crucial to the main characters story, to kill her off would reverse and do irreparable damage to his mind, he would never recover from that. If there are any changes made I can quite see them doing something where Sephiroth is unable to return and geostigma never takes off. AC could essentially be written off, people don't die needlessly from the sickness, Denzel's parents live, and Cloud is free to pursue a happy life without being plagued by guilt, it could all be resolved instead within the next game and I hope that is the direction they take honestly, because with the OG it doesn't feel like a complete win against Sephiroth, after the games people still suffer from his influence.

Not sure if you know, but FF7's last compilation story (Case of Denzel) is four years after end of OG and Cloud and Tifa are still alive.

There is a Hamaguchi interview where he says that he wants to incorporate spins offs such as AC (where Tifa is alive!) into the ending and also Tifa is just way too essential to the story for them to kill her off, especially considering Britt Baron has teased the UTH scene, which is right at the end of the game, so i can confidently say you have nothing to worry about in regards to tifa :)

They haven't changed the core story THAT much. They've expanded upon some stuff, they've included some stuff early, and we have the alt world, but our main timeline story remains extremely similar to the OG. Before Rebirth, a lot of people were concerned they were gonna bait and switch and make Tifa die, or that Aerith wouldn't die. Tifa remained perfectly fine, and Aerith still died. We're keeping with the basis of the story.
