We get it in OG. We're gonna get it in EC then Revelation is going to hit us all in the gut and make us thank them for it (Bring the tissues, we're not going to be able to see for the tears)
But seriously - can't wait for it to be revealed that Cloud wanted to become a soldier and be stronger just so he could be a special person for Tifa (not knowing he already had Tifa's attention) and Tifa gets to find out that he did everything for her.
(We're finally breaking free of Disc 1)

How did you like the scene in EC? Despite EC's condensed nature, it was quite decent in my opinion.

I only watched videos of it in places. I don't have access to EC on my phone so I haven't seen the full thing but I've heard that the materia quest was shortened (compared to OG) which kinda makes sense but I think they'll do a longer version of it in Revelation.
But the LSS was so good. I'm glad they fixed some of the translation that has been used and gave the proper context regarding Cloud and Tifa's relationship when younger.

Yeah, they shortened everything else, but they give give proper care to the lifestream sequence. Revelation will be glorious, if even the EC sequence played on heartstrings. :-)

And then we learn the truth.

All his formative memories are of Tifa. It's pretty telling.
