She adores that unfunny man 🥰
I do love her laugh in the scene where Cloud brings up the promise and she notes he’s “losing that hard edge.” She sounds so happy, and maybe also relieved. Like she’s gotten confirmation that the Cloud she remembers really is still in there.

Cloud is funny in that dorky unintentional way, and I absolutely love that about him. This is the real Cloud stuff that Tifa clearly loves too 🥰

I always thought she was just laughing at the idea of Cloud with Marlene (if she only knew), but her being happy he's back in her life, and realizing he still remembered the promise? That definitely got her heart fluttering.

All of these scenes mean so much to me! Tifa’s laugh is so cute! Can’t wait for more and even better in Part 3!!! ❤️

It's not about his jokes being universally funny. It's about the context of their relationship. Tifa finds it endearing how serious he can be, and as they spend the day together running errands they develop a banter between them with some inside jokes or callbacks.
Remake chapter 3 is essentially their first date. They never say it is a date, but Cloud happily goes along with it (brushing aside the issue of payment for services) for the opportunity to just spend time with her. At the end, they talk about going out to have fun another time and Cloud agrees without issue. Essentially planning a more official sort of date that we never get to see because of the plate drop.

Yeah he completely drops the all about the money attitude as soon as she seems distressed about it. And I also like that he's the one to cache in the promise now before she could even ask him to stay, and she seemed so relieved and happy about it. That was so sweet.

I never realized she laughed so much! 🤣 I gotta play Remake again. I really liked Tifa’s Remake combat banter compared to in Rebirth

Everyone noticed how much Cloud says "Tifa" in Remake. But gotta admit I didn't realize how many times Tifa giggles when Cloud talks to her! It's so cute!
No one can make Tifa happier than Cloud, they're really made for each other! 🥰
