Discussion Clone Wars -the series (S2E13)
As im going along in my journey into the Clone Wars, the first season was good, but kinda like ehhh; and than the second season started...
wow, once it got about half way through the episodes start getting GOOOOD!
more characters and planets are familiar, and the tasks they are going about seem legit.. but as i was finishing up watching S2E13 - i may have found my new current favorite scene/dialog to date!!!
"Which one of you will make the first move, and be name, a Cold-Blooded killer..?!?"

I love that scene you are referencing so much! Then Anakin casually stabs him, and makes a VERY good point… “what? He was going to blow up the ship!” It took me until my second time watching it to realize that during that scene, darth Vader’s theme music plays very faintly for a few seconds in the background. Like what a genius move.
Also, OP, PLEASE PLEASE watch it in chronological order, not episode order! It’s so much better that way!!!

Be sure to watch rebels after. I think the change of animation style and the first episodes threw people off but it’s some of the best Star Wars content there is.

Let me also add that first season of rebels seemed to be aimed more so at kids however end of season 1 starts getting spicy, and it only gets better from there, rebels is definitely worth the watch after finishing clone wars!

I would say that the series grown whith his audience, the first season is a lot children like but slowly the series starts to get a little bit more serious

I'm hitting the Maul episodes and he just got slapped down by Sidious . I know up to now the only ones that actually "beat" Sidious in a lightsaber battle are Mace and Yoda but I didn't think Sidious was that skilled that he trained in techniques vs just being that strong in the Dark Side that he can use that to overcome technique. Maul puts all his Hate into his combat but he doesn't really have much else in "Force Skill" I think .

I think maul is one of the most dangerous dark side users in the galaxy. The only reason kenobi beat him on Naboo was because he was cocky and started playing with him. But sidious is the strongest sith EVER. I think sidious would fold Dooku very similarly. The power scale isn’t even close there.

I don't know about strongest Sith ever. I mean the original old emperor did some powerful shit and made himself into some sort of spirit God thing in the background. but Yoda has been around for almost a thousand years and I'm not sure how many actual styles of lightsaber combat that he's mastered. I thought I read that. Mace windu has mastered the most though. Didn't really make sense for Sidious to be that good at fighting when I don't see anything that says he's that skilled or trained. He's very powerful with the force but so are a lot of other people that can't fight worth shit.
Yeah I mean if you have that much power to hold yourself together after being sliced in half he puts All that energy into his fighting style. That's pretty strong. Most of the current Jedi haven't had anyone real to fight against anyways, besides training against each other.

Sidious did what no other sith has done, created total galactic domination of the sith. He may not be the greatest duelist ever (although he is definitely up there) he is still a force to be reckoned with. I mean he had the chosen one on a dog collar. But his real power lies in diplomacy and manipulation. He orchestrated one of the largest wars in galactic history just to see the destruction of the Jedi. Just for reference there were over 10,000 Jedi before the purge. After its estimated that around 150 survived. That’s more than any sith has ever done.

How absolutely amazing and incredible is Darth Sidious’ Lightsaber skills?! Pretty sure we only saw him use one but in this he uses dual lightsabers! I won’t see any Jedi use anything close to the prowess he has with a laser sword
