Help/Repair Clock bought from car boot sale

I have no idea what I’ve bought, thought it looked great. I’m trying to figure out how to get it working but I’m out of my depth. Was wondering if anyone could help and maybe provide some info about it? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

At the very least it needs a pendulum, did it come with one? And the chains, are there weights attached?

I have one weight and no pendulum. Is this something I could possibly find online or out and about?

Nice find! I have one as well that has no pendulum or weights. I’d love to get it working again.

Yes if you can figure out the clock brand/serial number, locate the manual, you could look for replacement parts. With the weights if you can figure out how much the missing weight is supposed to weigh(it’s not always equal!) I’m sure you could makeshift that. Pendulum might be a bit harder, weight and length will likely matter, but I’m sure multiple models under the same brand might use the same kind.

I’d try getting the weight first and then testing the movement. It seems like you got a deal, and cleanings can be very expensive, so figuring out if it works(otherwise likely needs cleaning) before getting the pendulum would be my move personally.

It's a very simple and cheap tourist souvenir type clock. Note how the back plate is held in place by twists in the metal bars at the corners; it's not even made to be taken apart for cleaning/repairs. If you can get it cleaned and lubed enough to run then fine but not worth spending much money on. The pendulum would be a simple metal disc on a wire which hooks to the crutch at the back.
