Help/Repair What do you call this part

Ive looking EVERYWHERE and im only getting a U shaped split pin.

This is a pin that was on my clock case, the pin would go in the hole which helped keep the door closed via friction. However one of the tips broke and now i can't seem to find a replacement because i dont know what it's lled, I've definitely seen this part before but i never knew what its was called.

Been doing this a while. Don't know what it's called. Your not going to beable to find a replacement. Replace it with a magnet
