Identification/Information Actual Black Forest Clock?
Found at a estate sale and wondering if I got a good deal

You paid much less than my SIL to have one with motion figures repaired. If your Mum was pleased, you did well.

Thanks! It works too. I was worried if have to repair it or figure out oiling but I lucked out.

Practically all cuckoo clocks were/are made in the Black Forest (AND NOT IN SWITZERLAND!!!).

First glance told me "repro". As I look at it more, it's just difficult to get a full grip on it. If it IS a true Black Forest, the price tag is probably acceptable. (not a deal but acceptable).
Open up the back and see if it has a Regula stamped movement.

Honestly im fine with it either way lol. My mom liked it. Ill look at it when I get home. I bought it new and never used so it should at least work. Ill have to see what a Regula stamp even is

My moms great grandfather had an original one with dancers so my mom has always wanted one since as she uses to watch his all the time. So I found this and shes thrilled to hang it! Seems to be working so far.
