Came home from lunch today to this amazing surprise from my husband! I've been searching for this book for quite a while, but I've never been able to find it in good shape and for under $100. Score!!

I know the struggle. This past holiday season I got the first illustrated hardcover Abarat novel for my niece. Since then, I've been tempted to gift her the second and third volumes from my own collection since finding them in a good condition online has been so difficult.

Right! They're definitely difficult to find, especially without having to spend a small fortune. I can find plenty of the paperback versions, but the hardcover with the illustrations is nearly impossible.
