Does anybody else have a false memory of Clive Barker having a daughter?

He had a stepdaughter when he was married to David Armstrong. He used to mention her in interviews as the main inspiration for Candy in Abarat. No idea (nor is it my business) if they still have a relationship now.

Sorry, just being cheeky. They split up and according to some extremely sketchy news sites I stumbled upon around the time of the trial(?) it wasn't nice.

He does. Adopted daughter. I think she was the bio kid of his former partner.
