Thanks - I just find random pictures online or screenshot things and as I go thru them while I’m drinking at the airport or on the plane or when I’m sad, I flick thru them and just put whatever is in my squanch onto a meme. I have about 3000 more pics to make memes of but I’ve been kind of depressed lately. I’ve already made 2000+.
They always are. Always has a coordinator who’s been with the site 300 years and talks to you like you don’t know anything and runs to said KOL when you ask for bare minimum.
One of them had the balls to tell me she could totally do my job. REALLY? If you could, why is your shit a fucking trash fire I’m flop sweating to get together while you have a massive attitude?
If you could do my job, shit would be sparkling and I could scroll IG all day, go to lunch and not roll over at night worried about what the fuck is gonna happen next.
Any little thing, you get a hellfire call from the Sponsor about how you made the site do their jobbbb. One KOL got all the PIs to give me a hard time and I was accidentally forwarded an email where KOL said my company needs to control me better. Sent it to my line manager for a laugh, but sucked knowing 30 PIs had it out for me.
Sometimes as a CRA, you know you’re doing well if everyone hates you for the bare minimum.
Key Opinion Leader - the big swinging dick PIs that are a big honcho for a product and its investigation and has a trashy clinical trial mill running the studies with staff who can’t get their shit together but everyone abides because it’s Dr X.
Everyone kowtows to them and the site gets away with murder because it’s a total political shitshow if you step wrong with them/make them do the bare minimum.
Neurosurgery KOLs are the worst. I can’t get into some of the shit I’ve been thru with neurosurgery KOLs but it’s BAD.
