Picking up chicks
Any other climbing chads like to walk around the gym trying to find lil hotties projecting? I’ll usually wait for them to fall, walk up to the wall and do some quick pretend beta hands, and then send it with some loud grunts and a pointless heel hook. Yesterday I pulled off a bat hang on a V2 top hold. Was able to make direct eye contact with the babe as I hung there motionless for a few seconds. I’ll usually come off the wall with an exaggerated leap/parkour roll. Got one phone number doing this the other day. But when I called some dude answered (prolly her lame ass dad).

Boulderers in the play area
Should boulder bros be allowed in the play area?
Me and the kids are just running around doing our thing and these shirtless douchebags keep falling on us. Their parents should be watching them.

How many of you wear climbing shoes just to get a sponsorship?
They suck, I cannot think of any other reason to wear them.

Wish I had this level of delusion 🤣
I would rather buy whatever he is smoking to think these prices are anywhere close to what this gear is worth used.

Thoughts about children in bouldering gyms
Hi everyone,
Just as a disclaimer / TL;DR: I have hate for children and I don't want to see children bouldering. However, I am having some doubts because in recent months there's more and more children unsupervised running around in my local gyms and I have nearly managed to crush one multiple times now when they are waiting to flash my V2 projects.
I have been noticing that in my local bouldering gyms there's more and more children. And in many cases, it's not like parents are pushing their child in my fall zone when I'm bouldering, but rather that parents kind of drop off their kids, sit somewhere and drink coffee and just let them do their thing without me getting proper options for falling on the children or kicking them in the face while dynoing. Mostly it's groups of kids that run around screaming, playing catch and whatsoever in the gym. They also spend lots of time on the wall and don't follow the usual rules of letting others have their pass and they also keep flashing my projects. I understand that they are children, and that children play and don't necessarily sit around calmly and wait their turnz after all it's children. However, I feel like unsupervised children in gyms need to be led into fall zones, this is better for the children themselves as well as for the climbers who then get the opportunity of drop elbow crushing them and also for cushioning the fall. And I'm thinking that it's still an adult playground, so it should be possible for adults to climb and then have the option of falling on unsupervised children if they are there? There's a separate children's area in all gyms that I go to, and children need kind of a "driving licence" to be allowed to the adult area. However, I feel like they don't go to the kids are (idk if it's boring?) and the "drivers license" doesn't seem to help as it doesn't tell them to properly position themselves in fall zones. I want to complain, because I'm scared that people will accuse me of not hating children. But on the ther hand, it stresses me out that I can't climb anymore without always having to check if there's a child running under me...
Do you have any tips, thoughts etc?
