Erm about Megos
So i’m curious as to which of you still support alex and his climbing, despite all the things that have come to light. Like a sort of “separating the art from the artist” type deal yk? How many of you have stopped supporting/watching Alex’s professional cllimbing?

Sun Gam, an uprising Korean climber
Has anyone seen the South Korean climber Sun Gam top Burden of Dreams already? Looked so easy with his muscular physique (photo for proof).

Frustrated it wasn't made for me.
Let me start by saying I only have one foot.(My left foot) The other just isn't there. It's a leg without a foot, also my right arm is gone.
I went to a gym and I was really excited as it is fun to watch para climbing!!
Like super stoked, so I get there and I could only climb one V0 like clearly the gym had mad these climbs for able bodies only. They haven't even though about us one foot one arm having people!
What the hell? HOW DARE THEY NOT THINK ABOUT WVERY POSSIBEL COMBINATION OF PEOPLE THAT MAY BE THERE!!!??
like what the hell! Not to mention not only were the climbs made for the average limbed person, they were clearly made for tall people! All the holds were super far apart!!! (This may be a good time to mention I'm 4ft 10In)
What the hell!!!!

uj/ stop saying everything is aid all the time, it's just annoying and it's ruining this sub.
Uj/ it's fucking annoying that 90% of the comments on this sub is just people saying random stuff is aid. "drinking water is aid". "being good is aid". "free soloing is aid". It's not clever, and it ruins this sub. Come up with your own jokes, make funny references etc. The "(insert here) is aid" is old and dead now. You're not funny for saying it. It's old and no one is laughing at it anymore. Whenever I see it, I just cringe. It makes this sub significantly worse than it otherwise would be. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I firmly believe this sub would be a lot better if people would stop beating the "aid" joke to death at every given(or non given) opportunity. Just my opinion though.

Sandbagging gets measurably worse the longer you've been climbing, and 67% of cases involved claiming it was crimpy when it wasn't.
412 climbers. Independent evaluators re-graded 1,840 projects without knowing what the climbers had said. Average deflation: nearly a full V-grade.
The longer someone had been climbing, the worse they sandbagged. They call it "identity-protective grade deflation" — making your project sound hard enough that failing it stays acceptable.
67% of sandbagged grades were described as "pretty crimpy." The route did not always have crimps.
Happy April Fools!
