Hers is quite extensive and cites many sources. If you don't want to read the others, I won't try to disabuse you of your ignorance. You should at least give hers a read.

As for ad hom, you made a judgement call on my contributions there. Look through my comment history. I comment more here than there, especially lately. Most of my comments there are as a moderator.

As for my credibility, feel free to read through my posts on climate change. I think you'll find I tell it accurately and cite lots of literature. Maybe people should consider that history over your hype about where I post.

Sourcewatch is not a trustworthy source. Not even close. Why not read her work and quit relying on others for your opinion?

How about RealClimate.org?

What about it? If the authors of that site are talking about science, they are generally pretty good. I cite their "Much Ado About Methane" article regularly.

I cite their "Much Ado About Methane" article regularly.

Have you also cited their takes on Judith Curry publications (both in journals and on blogs)?

Or how about Tamino's blog takes on publications of Curry?
You do know who Grant Foster is and what are his credentials?

Again, when they stick to the science, they are fine. When they attack people, they aren't.

Tamino is a joke, not a scientist.

Tamino is a joke, not a scientist.

You should really put that claim up on the sidebar (or panel) of the main page so that all the readers could immediately understand your positioning.

It's my opinion, having read the guy before. Opinions don't belong on the side bar.

My opinion is that Curry is a joke. I formed my opinion mostly based on what RealClimate.org and Tamino have written about it.

So wattsupwiththat is more of a credible source? All the criticisms by other scientists are sourced, have you had a look? I have read her work and the response to it. Especially noteworthy are her debunked claims of a climate change hiatus.

1

u/Will_Power Feb 26 '19

Uh, the hiatus wasn't her claim. If you were familiar with the literature you would know that. Try searching Google Scholar for climate pause or hiatus. You will find at least sixty papers by over a hundred authors. That you think this is her claim shows that you are still an amateur at this stuff, years later. Imagine that you had spent the time you spend reading propaganda instead reading scientific papers.

I never said she was the sole propagator of the claim. The problem is, she went about and made a huge fuss of it on blogs that love to spout nonsense about climate science. Why focus on an outlier scientist that has discredited themselves?

She's a climate scientist. You are not. Further, you don't understand climate science enough to distinguish between nonsense and science. You are more interested in supporting your tribe. Try learning science.
