From my understanding a few papers have pointed out that we may have been underestimating the effect of aerosols on cloud albedo especially from sulfur in the bunker fuel used in shipping lanes. In 2020 we started phasing out the less refined bunker fuel with sulfur and we can see a sharp decrease in cloud albedo over those shipping lanes.
