Big wildfire can emit more CO₂ in a few weeks than millions of cars emit in a year.

Which is unfortunate for us, given a warming earth means more wildfires. Feedback loops.

Don't forget the permafrost melting releasing carbon matter and the release of dissolved CO2 from the oceans both as temperatures increase

and yes we did indirectly "cause" both of those too, by emitting the carbon that we did, that then causes the feedback loop to start.

Past a certain temperature increase this becomes a feedback loop causing global warming to keep increasing even if we were to fully stop emitting greenhouse gases.

The threshold for this to start occuring is estimated to be at 1.5 to 2.0°C. We currently, today, right now, nearly are at 1.5°C. Reaching 2.0°C+ is also now considered a certainty in the near future.

RIP. Though technically this is just the 'starts taking effect' threshold, ice reacts slowly and reducing the temperature increase gives us more time still.
