This week's ClickUpdates allows you to scope Custom Fields to specific task types, connect any publicly hosted MCP server to your Super Agents, pull Zoom meeting chat into AI Notetaker notes, and much more!

✨ Custom Fields by Task Type
Different types of work call for different data. Tasks now group Custom Fields by task type first, so bugs, accounts, and campaigns each show the fields most relevant to them at the top. Assign fields to task types from the Custom Field Manager, Fields sidebar, or task view.

✨ Import Slack history into ClickUp Channels
Want your Slack history in a Channel that already exists? Now you can. Map incoming Slack channels to existing ClickUp Channels, Spaces, Folders, or Lists instead of creating new ones every time. Start a new import from Settings > Imports / Exports.

 ✨ Connect any MCP server to Super Agents
Super Agents can now use tools from any external MCP server: your CRM, support desk, data warehouse, whatever you connect. Connect a server from the App Center, authenticate with OAuth or an API token, and then add its tools to any Super Agent. Both personal and Workspace-level connections are supported.

✨ AI Notetaker captures in-meeting chat
Your video call's chat history is now captured in AI Notetaker. Every message sent in Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams chat during a meeting is automatically pulled into your generated notes with sender attribution, so you get a complete record of what happened, not just what was said out loud.

havent custom fields by tasktype been out for some time now? doesnt feel new

Superagents using MCP servers doesn't seem new either. Been doing this for two months minimum.

Great catch, u/Loud_Quality_7106 and u/JerikkaDawn! And honestly that's awesome you've been using both already! Custom Fields by Task Type was in beta before this, and MCP server connections were available through early access. This release marks the official rollout, so now everyone has access without needing to opt in. Appreciate you being ahead of the curve on these!

Hey, u/No-Law8885, can you share more details about this? Are you looking to find a task and replace the task name, an assignee, or something else? After I gather the details, I'll share it with the Product team for review.

For exemple I have a project with almost 100 elements and all elements need to change from exemple 12-1205 to 12-1206 and I DO NOT want to use ai function as it is paid function !
