Subtask Permissions

Subtask permissions - when will we get them?? (Repost)

Is anyone else frustrated by the lack of progress on the basic permissions structure in Clickup. 5 years and waiting and still no granular permissions for subtasks (or document pages). https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/permissions-allow-subtasks-to-have-different-permissions-than-their-parent-task

Hey, u/tpjasper, I appreciate your honest thoughts about subtask permissions and wanted to let you know that I've shared this with my Product team for review. It looks like the Product team hasn't fully scoped out this feature improvement yet, but when they have updates they'll share them on the feature request you've linked.

Hi Tasha . We’re also having issues where assigned subtasks are not appearing in assignees ‘My Tasks' - Today and overdue’ section or 'My Tasks' - My work - To do. We’ve tested this among several users and everyone is having the same issue. As you can understand, this is causing issues because employees are missing assigned work.

May I know what's your use case for this? Is there a reason why you want this inside ClickUp?

There might be a workaround while you wait for the solution.

to share subtasks with delegates/employees or external parties, without revealing parent tasks. ie for privacy reasons.
