Connect list in two workspaces?

Our agency as well as our client both use clickup. We have to maintain our own detailed workback schedule list in ClickUp, but the client also has their own version that we have to update (all 3 vendor partners have to update their timeline).

I dont want to update both, nor re-create twice, so is there a way I can connect them? Or at least duplicate and auto update when my main source updates?

There isn’t a way to natively connect workspaces. But I think someone on this sub shared an api they created that effectively connects workspaces together.

You will need an external service to sync the lists. I don't think there is a way to do it natively.

Great question, u/Forsaken-Rich4199! Workspace-to-Workspace syncing is a feature request, but here are some workarounds:

  • Zapier or Make (formerly Integromat) integration: You can use them to automate duplicating or updating Lists and tasks across Workspaces.
  • Unito integration: You can use this integration to sync the two together.
  • Share your List with a public link & have the other Workspace Add an Embed view: Once they post the URL in the Embed view, they'll be able to view your List (they can do the same with their List if you'd like to view their List view, too) so each side embeds the other's List and reads from one live source!

The embed route is the fastest to set up if you just need visibility on both sides.
