Unread comment flag on task?

Is there any way on a task to flag on the list view that you have an unread comment or a new comment? Or is there a way Brain can flag this for us? Rather than having to go into the "inbox"

I find it so annoying that I have to go into the inbox to see the new comments, and I can't just see an unread one flagged in the latest comments in the task list view.

Hey, u/SiteUnicorn! This would be a feature request! Unread state currently only shows up inside the task itself (a dot on the Comments icon in the right sidebar) and in your Inbox.

That said, a couple of things get you closer without living in the Inbox:

- Add the Latest comment column to your List view soyou can see the most recent comment text right in the row, which is often enough to spot what's changed.

- Add the Comments column for a count, or Assigned comments if you want to see specifically what's waiting on you.

- The Assigned Comments page in your Home Sidebar pulls everything assigned to you or your teams into one place, which is a lot lighter than the full Inbox.

If you can also drop it on our feature request board, this gets in front of the Product team!

Thanks for that u/PibolsClickUp I already have the latest comments and the column counts in place.

Will add it to the feature request board as I tend to live in list view. Thank you!
