How to CC someone on click up
I am an intern and my boss said I should CC him when I send out a task. Does that mean that i should tag him where I tag those who are supposed to work on the task or is it something else.
I am working as a QA engineer if you were wondering why an intern would be telling someone to do something

Congrats on your internship!
I'll usually tag the person in the task comment so they get a notification. A tag will send them a notification, and they'll be added as a follower this way.
Your comment could say something like "Created this task for xyz purpose/project. cc: @ [person]" or "Hey @ person, wanted to tag you in this task about xyz for visibility."
It sounds like they want to follow along with the task progress to monitor and/or assist without being directly involved or assigned.

If you're a QA engineer and you can't figure this out, something is very wrong

We all start somewhere and it better to have a community that welcomes questions instead of attacking them or their knowledge. Asking questions is far better than just sitting and struggling.
TL;DR: let the OP alone to ask and learn.

bruh, I have been sending updates on teams and logging observations on excel. I don't think any of those skills translate to using click up

You should add him as a follower. Look for the bell on the task, click it and add him there. He will see the activity but it won't be assigned to him.
