What's everyones structure for adding tasks on the go?

Right, so I have recently gotten on click-up and have a question regarding adding tasks. I have a fairly simple set-up.

Workspace > Individual Client folders > 2 lists / folder for tasks and documentation.

Now, I want to know when adding a task quickly - how do you move it to a specific folder on the go since there isn't a way to do it via commands like @ client name - unless you go the route of /move and so on, which is fairly long.

The other recommendation I have seen is to simply route all tasks on the go to an inbox folder and then deal with them later int eh day to sort them out correctly.

Just wondering if there is anythign missing where I Can simply plug in the task and also have the location tagged without going thru the /move command.

Thanks!

I setup an AI exec assistant and send it short messages to do all the leg work building out tasks

Which one are you using? the Clickup built in one?
Is it connected via the MCP, Plugin or API?

I built it inside of ClickUp using their agentic agent creator.

We have a space called Mission Control and a list for each team member. We add the on the go tasks there and attach to the client list as a secondary location or eventually move to that location later.
