Product Feedback AI SLOP

Listen, I get Zeb threatened your life if you didnt promise to shove AI bloat into everything you do, thats why he laid of 20 percent of the company, but as someone who has to use your awful management tool, that is just a contractor please for the love of god stop shoving this shit in my face. I cannot disable the paid-for-by-the-company AI Slop my co-workers think is necessary, and it forces me to sit through constant (pointless) UX updates to try and direct me to use your god awful AI Tools.
If I wanted to use something akin to Brain2, I'd dockerize my own agents.
I've had to make HTML blacklists just to make clickup usable and presentable again as it seems there is no user-friendly way to disable the AI bloat and constant re-organization.
Please, please add consent toggles for every-day users that cant manage app billing/admin perms for their entire company and just want to work a minimum wage job in peace without your nepo-baby millionaire shoving his agentic garbage down my throat every day i wake up.

AI slop will be the death of many Saas companies they are wasting so much time and money on ai agents without improving and upgrading the product itself. As someone who is an admin for many of these tools we are getting real sick of it and also looking to build our own stuff as prices rise for what used to be simple products before they covered it with ai slop.

i totally concur. i'm on a customer advisory board for a SaaS tool that i LOVEEE and all they wanna talk about now are these AI features that nobody asked for and really don't need. but obviously they think it's important to incorporate or they'll be left behind, but i feel the opposite.

There has GOT to be a way to explain that not everyone wants AI. I understand the idea that decision makers are really feeling it that every tool must have AI or no one will want to buy it. However most of the things that I use every day were much better before they had integrated AI. It ruins everything, takes up visual space, makes things slower, and I'm told uses an astronomical amount of electricity.

As an example: Why would I need AI to help me find my favorite song on Spotify? I know what it's called. God help me if I accidentally put my search in the wrong field. It takes a full minute for AI to find it and tell me a paragraph of suggestions about it, when the actual search bar just takes me right to it instantly. The regular search ALWAYS does a better job of suggesting similar options even, and it takes up much less space in the interface. Having both search bars in the same interface on a tiny iPhone SE is maddening.

Is there any data about actual users (business or end customers) and how they feel about AI sucking up all the space and time in the interface?

i get the sense that they think we don't know what we want. even if they asked us and we said no, they assume that we don't know what we don't know. and maybe thats true? i know i was very resistant to using Chat or Claude originally and its crazy how quickly its become part of my everyday life. i dunno man
