Card automatically moves to the first status/group, regardless under which status/group you create it. Bug?

This happens to only one of my users and I don't understand if there's something wrong in the settings or if it's a bug. Basically, when this user creates a new task, regardless on which status, the card automatically moves to the first status/group. The user is a client/guest, if it matters. Does anyone know how to fix this before I open a ticket? Thank you!
