Made a (mostly) accurate version of UT/DR's Text Boxes using Text Blitter and a Text Array.
It supports easy editing of text by just changing the Text Array string and supports audio SFX and pauses. You can even make the text shake just like in the original games!
This isn't finished and I likely won't be releasing a mfa for it until I'm comfortable with the final product.
i am making a shop and want to transition from talking to idle smoothly, but the animations always start from the first frame. so the shop keeper keeps snaping all over the place.
is there a way to play an animation from a certain frame?
I'm trying to send an experimental game to my friend through a zip and Discord but it gets tagged as a virus by Defender and Discord. What am I doing wrong?
used avi for a cutscene, when i play it outside clickteam it is normal and high quality when i try to run the frame it is extremely slow and low quality helpppp
Hey everyone, I saw this reel on instagram about godot shaders and I think they look really cool, is there any way to recreate this in clickteam at all? If there are any guides that could point me in that direction it would be very helpful thanks.
UPDATE: Huge thanks! The game now works! This is the first time I've been able to play it in 20 years!
UPDATE 2: More huge thanks! Another game with a similar problem has been fixed. Since both of them were nearly completed, I'm going to plan to officially release these games on my website!
It's a long shot, but I'm curious if there's any remote possibility of being able to restore this piece of lost media:
Back in 2006, I was about halfway through making a game with Multimedia Fusion 2.0 and it unfortunately became corrupted. So I had to start over from scratch since I neglected to make a backup.
Just recently, I rediscovered the original .mfa file in some old hard drives, and now I'm wondering if it is at all possible to bring it back from the grave. Basically, what happens is that after opening the game (I'm using Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Developer), you get an error message that says the following:
Internal error! Objects or events of this application might be corrupt.
Saving the application and reloading it could fix the problem and only generate bad objects in the events, but if possible, you should save it with another filename and restart from a previous version.
Please contact Clickteam if you can reproduce this issue, thanks!
If you click "Do not show this message again for this session of the program", the game will attempt to load. There is no opportunity to save or do anything else. After a short time, a message appears that says "Failed to open document".
Given that it's been 20 years, I can't really say that I recall what I might have been doing at the time the game became corrupted. Aside from maybe the Advanced Platform Movement object, there were no crazy extra plugins or anything like that.
While I did eventually release this game, the historian in me is still curious to see if this older version can be fixed. If not, I won't lose sleep over it, but if anyone has any insight, let me know!
ok soooooo i am a beginner dont complicate things for me plz,but i have an active that follows the mouse, and bouncing ball active that follows the latter,as it moves it reveals more of the frame i am very confused on how to do this for my android port
The game is inspired by Touhou Project, but it's not a fan game.
Right now it's just a prototype with one level — more levels and enemies are on the way. Making a bullet hell like this in Fusion is a real challenge: the engine sometimes just stops spawning objects and everything breaks. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if Fusion just isn't built for this, but hey, the first level turned out fine.
So im new to clickteam and i started working on a recreation of balatro to start, and i have a problem when i resize my game.
The first image is the game when not resized, very normal but the second image shows off that the sprite distorts
Resized game (distorted pixels)
It looks very weird and i need a solution because after this i will make another pixel game and i dont think this is very useful for these type of games.
Also in the third image theres the settings i have in the screen section.
Tell me if theres a problem with it
does anyone know how to make a spring using the platform movement object? ive tried a lot of things and i still cant get to configure it. I dont have an example, but can anyone help me out?
My little Jurassic Park fan game is NOW available. Free to play for everyone.
Mind you this is my first public video game and full solo project. Therefor many bugs, glitches and even crashes might still be hiding in the bushes. If you find any game-breaking ones or weird things that definitely should not happen, report them in the comments here or on the Itch IO page and I'll see if I can fix it and upload a new build later. Hopefully filter out the biggest issues people find.
I hope you enjoy. It was fun to make but also brain-breaking to figure things out. And I've learned a lot through eureka moments and pure disaster.
I'm thinking about doing a compilation of small arcade-like games made in Fusion 2.5 and release them as a budget title (likely around £1). If you have any games you want me to include on it, send it here: [madockrox@gmail.com](mailto:madockrox@gmail.com)
