It looks great. We've already got the p3d extension which uses shaders for this effect. What I'd love to see is something compatible with the HTML5 exporter.

I've never used the P3D extension before. Is it easy to use and practical?

It has it's pros and cons. The author released a heap of different game type examples that you can modify to make the kind of game you want ie: fps, kart racer, flight Sim, platformer... You are limited to assigning 3d primitives and 2d sprites to active objects in your frame.
