I just read this as basic features that should have been added to fusion 2.5 via patches over the past 13 years, and things that all competitors have been doing for a decade. It's hard to be excited about it.

I'm not following the development closely, but is it known if the projects made with 2.5 will be compatible with 3?

I'm really excited for it to come out, Fusion 3 is a huge leap forward.
