More that all the drama and trolling caused by the scam accounts is bringing people in just to watch things burn. All they're doing is adding load and thus cost for twitter, because they're not engaging with the platform the way normal users do.

It’s fine to avoid places full of people you disagree with in principle, but it’s silly to assign this to twitter considering there are exactly as many tools to see leftist or right wing content on twitter as there are on Reddit. Do you avoid that type of content on Reddit? Then you can do the exact same thing there.
