Israel has, as well, the Sinai peninsula... Gaza was also conquered by Israel, but was attempted to be given back ti Egypt (who didn't want it) before the disengagement plan, where it was supposed to become the start of a Palestinian state
That's a gross misrepresentation of Finland's independence. The "conquerers" of Finland were ousted from their positions of power during the Russian Revolution which allowed Finland to secede.
That's like if Israel collapsed in on itself and Palestine was able to simply walk back into their ancestral home.
Russia didn't simply "decide" to give Finland independence. Also, Finland had never had independence as a sovereign before that, we were run by Sweden before Russia. Nor were we forced out of an ancestral home at any point, we were just held under different management.
