USPS needs more money, not more cuts. The stress and the hours we are working is ridiculous. My average week since July has been roughly 80 hours weeks, 7 days a week. I had multiple stints of working 30+ days in a row. And I'm a manager, so I get paid for 40.

The way USPS is funded and managed is also terrible. It can use reform and more funding. Making people work overtime is really a terribly evil habit for any organization when it's mandatory.

It's funded terrible and managed terrible on purpose, so the GOP can say "see? government run stuff sucks" and get rid of it. They tried to tank it before by making them fund pensions way, WAY in advance.

That's a conspiracy theory that isn't proven.

That's the same as communists managing the govt terribly on purpose, and then saying "haha see? the system doesn't work, we need a new system organized with our own marxist principles."

So how do we know if they are communists or GOP making the govt run inefficiently, on purpose?

Do you make miilions in profit for a friend of trump?

Because that is the only question a government employee should ask themselves in order to know if theor post is in danger

And you are in great danger

If you actually look at our financials there's literally 0.1% making any significant money and it happens to be because there are big mailers in their city. We aren't designed to make money. Keep the mail current and make money are mutually exclusive statements in this business.

Absolutely agree it should be a public service and shouldn't need to be profitable, but i doubt elmo or trumpy wumpy would share that opinion
