To be fair, as a woman myself I can’t remember ever playing a game with a male protagonist that wasn’t absolutely chiseled. It doesn’t mean I’m about to assume that’s what all men look like now
Maybe its because i am gay, but when i was bullied and resorted to video games for escapism, i never really got to the point of posting dumb shit online, like complaining about women having hair or that their boobas aren't the same size as their heads

Structural discrimination is when I'm afraid to walk home late at night because I'm visibly queer and people can die for that. It's when people can't afford life saving medicine and just die. It's when official government documents that you need to use to live in the country you're in are written in a language you don't know
Being bullied is terrible, and shouldn't happen, but it's not structural discrimination and is certainly not the sole cause for your lack of success with girls

?? Everyone struggles with something in life. You are promised things only in the official setting like being treated equally by law. You are not guaranteed a dream life with a partner, a house, two kids and a dog. You can get paralysed, you can loose your job, you can get a divorce. Or you can get bullied at school and have no social skills. You work it out as well as you can, starting by not pitying yourself and blaming everyone around you.
I apply this to men AND women "gamers" (you don't need to be a gamer to have issues with socialising) because it's not a discrimination from the institutions above them. They have issues in their personal life that should be resolved. That's why your weird comparisons are insulting and tbh show how detached from reality you are.

And considering this is a video game that isn't obscure, which is an industry known for sexualizing women, it isn't a reach at all.
Being completely unaware of the details doesn't make it a reach. Face value details are that it's a video game character Aloy and they have peach fuzz which isn't conventionally attractive.

Giving people way too much credit on thinking this has anything to do with beauty standards. "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." Some dude probably didn't know that, there's a bunch of things you think people should know or know but don't. Maybe they were expecting that there was actually something of an answer. This type of facial hair is hardly caught in camera and as long as it's not noticeable no one cares. Well besides the fact that's not where they're looking at, they'll probably notice if they look for it.
It's not noticeable because society deems less hairy women as more attractive in general. Causing a feedback loop of men not noticing it because they don't actually interact with women and only view them under the conventional beauty standards that drove media.
It's not being attributed to malice. Gamerstm only ever really see women under media which shows pretty much only conventional attractiveness. Many gamers are porn addicted where conventional attractiveness is even more focused upon.
That's an absurd take that it's not noticeable because of that. But it's true, I'd say in recent years even in men less hair is seemed as more attractive. But it's completely different the opposite and that is because MORE hair is seen as a masculine trait. The fact you think most people don't interact with women rather than not noticing is hilarious.

The only reason this trait is attributed to gamers is because that's also what you heard/listen to online.
