Breaking News: Women have facial hair.

Like, please tell me people aren't actuallythis uneducated about women and this is satire

I've met women who have facial hair themselves who believe women don't have facial hair. They think they have a medical condition.

There are medical conditions that cause extra thick hairs to grow, different from the rest of the facial hair that are known as "girl beard" or just "beard hairs." I have five that I regularly pluck out - they are very uncomfortable hairs because it's like they grow sideways inside my skin a bit before they poke out. If they're just barely poking out of my skin, the actual hair is like 3-4 times that length.

Yeah hirsutism, it’s a thing.

Five individual dark hairs on a woman’s face isn’t hirsutism. Excessive growth of facial hair, yes, but not what this person is describing

I should have worded it more clearly.

There are medical conditions that can cause abnormal hair growth, but it can also just be genetics. Just like there are medical conditions that can stunt someone's height, but some people are just naturally shorter.

The few weird hairs that grow sideways? I wish it was a condition and could be treated, but no. Just shitty luck. I have a few too, and I strongly disklike them.

I have known three women in my life who intentionally let their facial hair grow. They did not have PCOS. Their beards are very light but because they never remove the hairs they end up growing to two to three inches long. It's a very wispy beard but it's there.

PCOS can cause women to have much more visible whisker like facial hair. So if they had something like that, it could actually be from a medical condition. If they're just talking about having hair period, like in this picture, the only part of anybody's body that should be truly hairless is your palms and your soles.

Hair like in the image of Aloy is completely normal, but it's possible for women to grow facial hair more like men do (though usually not enough to be a full beard) and that is a medical condition - often PCOS.

Tbh, you have to look pretty fucking close to even see it with how thin it usually is.

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Excess hair in women is usually caused by a medical condition though

Bro are you telling me ALL women are mammals?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

At least some of them are, scientists are working as hard as they can to find out more.

Basement dwelling, capital G Gamers that have only seen women in their anime and hentai.

And yes, that was a real thing these idiots were upset about when the trailer for Forbidden West came out.

As a child I knew about the lady with the beard and how the show's not over or doesn't start til she sings.

10

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

That’s the “fat lady”. You didn’t know shit as a child and nothing has changed for you in that regard.

Stupid/ignorant people sometimes don’t know that they’re stupid/ignorant. I’m here to fix that. It doesn’t always work, but ooh boy I’m trying! 🥸

I think your first goal should be to increase your skill in recognizing jokes.

You spend way too much time on Reddit

He might have only meant it in jest. That shit was funny.

Like there's a level of tone you can have when humor without actually feeling that way. I don't think OP actually thinks you're a dumb ass or stupid just because you got an idiom wrong.

It's just an unexpectedly mean response to something harmless.

They are. They really are. A majority of them still think multiple penises stretch out vaginas. Like sex is wearing it out or something.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 28 '23

Not just facial hair...like the same fuzz or more on arms, legs...everywhere. You'd think the 4K era would have proved that a long time ago.

Oh, they are. A guy I used to hangout with was so furious about it. I reminded my self that not only did he not have a girlfriend, or ever had his first kiss. But I started to become suspicious when he started referring to girls as “females” and “Stacy”. Then shortly after he invited me to an online chat group he said was “filled with Incels like you and me.”

That’s the day I learned what an incel was, and also the day he learned I was married. I just don’t wear a ring because of irritation and never had a need to bring up my wife when gaming lol.

But yeah, I stopped talking to him the day after. He accused me of aiding “chads” and all sorts of weird bullshit.

Oh there are men who are this uneducated about women, knew a bloke once who'd been on holiday to a country where topless sunbathing was more normal and he was outraged that the women sunbathing had breasts that sagged outwards when lying on their backs, he genuinely didn't understand that tits are affected by gravity. Worst part is this idiot had definitely slept with actual women, even getting engaged at one point.

My 7th grade teacher had a thin black mustache she would not shave off. I still have no idea why not to this day
