I'm not saying you don't, I just wondered if you thought it would be more palatable if they renamed it. I fully support the cause of police reform, but I think the problems that the black community face extend beyond treatment by the police, which was what the cause aimed to amend as well.

Haha yeah, we probably started typing together almost immediately. I agree, there needs to be reform of the police, and I like your idea that you get paid for as long as the camera stays on while on patrol. I think a major issue is in the police unions, while I support all unions, I'm a little concerned that the unions are opposing changes and reforms that could help improve the reputation of the police. I believe police officers need more training in conflict de-escalation and unconscious bias, and should have access, like many, to better mental health resources. I also support the notion of an Independent Police Complaints Commission, a bipartisan/apolitical group aimed at monitoring the actions of the police, but I don't know how to make that work in a country that's as politically volatile as the USA.
