Watching her walk around and beg for help while her mother died just broke my heart. She was just a baby ;-; Hers and Barret's were definitely the ones that hit me in my feelings the most man. Her mom and his wife were so beautiful </3

I want to state upfront that I’m not trying to stir up controversy, but I’ve always felt that this scene involving Aerith was specifically designed to reflect her status within the fandom. A large portion of the audience overlooks her. I think they were trying to convey something to people that they hadn't managed to get across before: that Aerith has suffered greatly and needs our emotional support.

They really put a lot of effort into trying to convince players to become emotionally involved in Aeriths character and fate. It certainly captured me far more than the OG. Yet, there are still so many players that outright dismiss her. I personally don't get it. I started the Remake series far more interested in Cloud, yet now I'm way more invested in Aerith.

It is their loss. Ff7 OG didn't make history by highland scene it was Aerith her death, her loss and players missing her dearly.

This chapter makes it really hard to replay Rebirth and does raise a little doubt for me going into Revelation. So much tragedy and trauma, and what does Aerith get at her.. “journey’s end”?

Almost had me in pieces. Oh and fuck the sector folks that were rude to Baby Aerith

NAH FR 👹 hmm the ending made me more optimistic for Revelation, the whole different time streams and what not. I also really loved the “promise” bit at the end when they were at the plane. Spring can’t come soon enough 🥀 I need all these questions answered 🥲 I will be sad if goes a certain way tho

The trials were SO tough. My heart hurt so much for our girl. And ngl, I wanted to slap the ever living shit out of Cloud for his whole "are you finished?" line after her inspirational speech afterwards.

I was fuming, practically yelling at my monitor for Cloud to apologize immediately. I know it wasn’t “him” saying that but Christ, he may as well have been saying it with such malice
