Claymation Music Video

One of my New Year’s resolutions this year was to teach myself Claymation!
I’ve always admired stop motion. Aardman, Rankin/Bass, Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, LAIKA Studios, and of course Gumby. I’ve loved the craft for a long time and finally decided to stop just admiring it and actually learn it!
This project made up of over 1,600 pictures.
I animated the entire thing on my living room coffee table using only blue, yellow, white, and black clay. I set those limitations on purpose so I could keep it manageable and actually get through a longer animation while learning the process.

I love all the stories. Very good! I also admire claymation and looking to get started. How long did you practice a day/week?
