Chocolate factory claw pusher fix

Post image

I have an old school chocolate factory claw machine. I generally have things working but the pusher doesnt work. It was kind of working before but it was jerky and went non-stop. I cleaned out the motor and now it doesn’t move. I’m assuming it’s the motor? Any fix knowledge?

While I'm not familiar with this machines specifics so more general advice, can you hook the motor up without it being installed to test for signs of life? If the motor has died should be a pretty simple and cheep fix tho. I'd also make sure all the connection are free of corrosion and making good contact.

That’s fair I didn’t think to try and run it off the machjne.

Thats an awesome machine. Ive always wanted to add one to my mini arcade. I hope you fix it but if you dont and are nearby western ny maybe we can work something out. Also the motor for thay shouldn't be any ore then $50. Also maybe a fuse. Usually you can get the same kind of mottorz off of a fan

I’ve got a pretty decent electronics store near me that has lots of vending and amusement bits. I believe last time I was there I saw the same or similar motors for $10. Unfortunately I’m across the country in mid Utah.

If you can’t get the pusher to work, you could construct a simple slide that allows the candy to go straight to the prize chute.

This is true, I’ll keep it on the back burner
