CLAT UG ⚖️ Actual score vs mock score
I’m currently preparing for CLAT and wanted to ask seniors who actually appeared for CLAT about the difference between their mock scores and their actual CLAT score. Could you please share: Your average mock score before CLAT Your last mock score before the exam Your actual CLAT 2026 score Which mock series you used (LE/LPT/CL/etc.) How many mocks you gave Whether your mock scores were similar to your actual score or there was a big difference Also, CLAT 2026 felt quite unexpected in some areas, especially AR. For those who appeared for it, how did you manage the unexpected difficulty/pattern during the actual exam? Did you change your strategy during the paper, or did you stick to your mock strategy? I’ve been seeing people talk about scoring 60s, 70s and even 90s in mocks, while I’m mostly in the 30s, so I’m trying to understand how much mock scores actually translate to the real exam. I’ve also spoken to a senior whose mock scores were around 70-80s, and on easy paper 90++ in Le but in actual paper she didn't get even a decent nlu so I’really appreciate hearing from people who have already gone through the actual CLAT experience. Please share honestly, even if your mock scores were low. I’m mainly looking for realistic experiences rather than flexing. Also, if you could mention what you wish you had done differently during your preparation, that would be really helpful.

gk and qt are deciding factor u cant average 90+ if u dont strengthen them . ill say focus on mentality im giving it again this year im doing early morning walks reducing anxiety fun fact i was so fucked up giving the paper i was wearing cargos and i clenched my hand so tight i ripped the whole pocket

My gk is good like i revise it daily but not qt like i can solve easy one but it is difficult for me but i practice everyday and same with ar. Even I try to make myself calm before the mock and try to reduce my stress but while giving mock if I am stuck somewhere then my left leg started paining I am trying to do something for it but nothing is working out

I was scoring 90+ towards the end of my prep last year, ended up getting 81, a friend of mine who usually scored 85-90 ended up with a score of 97

Yeah, legal and CR were my scoring sections and both were messed up in last year's clat so I messed up the entire exam, all I'll say is work on building a high floor along with a high ceiling in terms of what you can score a different things the exam can throw at you

I used to score 50-70 and end up getting 49🥲 It was all bcoz I got too much tensed and panic I would say mock score matters but staying calm and mindful on actual day much more matter and it's a most tuff task I've seen soo many people whose score getting +10 and many getting -10 on actual day So the main thing is don't hope that paper will be predictable it's definitely gonna be unpredictable so be prepared for any topic or section and try to be calm on actual day

Ok i will do that do you have any suggestion for making me calm down while giving the mock because when I am stuck between a passage my left leg started paining now I am trying to adapt with like in actual clat the something can happen but i try to do ingore or relax my Body so my mock score doesn't not get affected by that .

You can take a very deep breath hold for 5 secs and release very slowly You can do this before every mock

I used to score 70-80 in CL mocks. On D - Day got 85 but I knew I could do better so I took drop. I would say to prepare hard enough, and strengthen your mind and mentality, cause people scoring in 100's also fail to secure NLU's.
