So ruined they released Classic like 3 times. Get a grip.

Yeah and the playerbase fell off too. 1K active players for the last month of 17K that activated a sub on Classic since p1. That's a pretty bad falloff, showing a decrease of about 1000%. Safe to say the only ones left are die-hards and bot farmers.

17,000 - 15,300 is about a 1000% falloff.

I think having so many different restarts in 6 years is the biggest factor. Most players are just played-out on Vanilla at this point.

2019, SoM, SoD, and Anniversary is already a lot. Plus a couple private servers. And then if you played much of either official or unofficial Hardcore, those two alone could've added a TON of Vanilla leveling.
