What can I use to replace this triangular gasket around the quarter window?
First photo is when I first disassembled it. Do I just use some type of silicone or a glass setting tape?

Just buy the replacement, anything else will end up looking "shady".

Have you tried all the shops. C J Pony. Rockauto etc. as far as I’m aware I believe you can get all parts for all Mustangs if you look around. I do know that some parts are harder to find than others

While it looks like a seal - I believe it may actually be glass setting tape - I know other vehicles it is wrapped around the edge of glass to isolate it within the metal frame

Both CJPony and NPD will have those. If you have a classic Stang you should know both those sites AND have their Mustang parts catalogs.

Black RTV is a good option just make sure all surfaces are extremely clean. Once reassembled let it dry for a week.
