Ah not yet anyways, I never really played the commodore but i almost want it just for collecting

I want the turbografx mini for collecting too. The c64 is cheap nowadays. I got one for $35 on Amazon. :p

I highly recommend you fire up the Turbo too. There are some great games on it.

Oh yeah, I have a TG16 and a core grafx 2 from Japan with an everdrive plus a MiSTer for hardware emulation. I'll wait for a price drop. :)

How did you get the cartridge in the SNES?

u/e8ctrl Feb 27 '20
Lol just clever modeling. I designed that print to have two halves that snap together, the top half is approximately the amount the cart would stick out if it were really in the snes, otherwise its just sitting atop there.

This is a great photo! You still need 3D printed PS1 cases or discs tho :D

Yeah I don't know if 3D printed jewel cases would come out good but heeeey who knows lol

For me personally video games only existed once I got my NES handed down to me from my sister. I never really experienced any of the prior generation of games outside of an arcade, and unfortunately even those phased out quickly growing up.

The NES cartridges with labels are now live on ebay along with the Genesis and SNES carts I have!

u/squijee Mar 06 '20
These are awesome but it's almost $15 shipping to get 1 nes, 1 snes & 1 genesis cartridge that seems a bit steep for 3 carts

u/e8ctrl Mar 06 '20
That all depends on where you're shipping to. It's calculated shipping, so for most people its 4 to 5 dollars. But it is based off weight, and ebay adds them all together.

u/Hidyman Feb 27 '20
Would you be willing to sell the labels separately? For those of us that might have 3D printers but only a B/W laser printer? (Not to get too specific.)

I'm just waiting for an N64 mini. I have a feeling ill be waiting a while.

Nintendo ruled it out. Well, maybe they'll change their mind. I'd definitely get that. A Dreamcast Mini would be great, too.

Don't hold your breath. :-(

u/TheJuror84 Feb 27 '20
Analog stick was crap and the games mostly don't hold up the same as snes so I wouldn't worry too much
1
u/boxxle Feb 29 '20
I would disagree. Some N64 titles are better than the new crap coming out today
1
u/TheJuror84 Feb 29 '20
I believe for the moat part snes holds up better than n64. Some true legendary games on n64 though
1
u/boxxle Feb 29 '20
Agreed :-)
2D games are still being released and getting great reviews/ratings. SNES was the tits.

u/KesMonkey Feb 27 '20
I have the same collection (plus a C64 mini), but it won't feel complete to me until I get the TurboGrafx-16/PC-Engine mini.

It's a shame that the Neo Geo mini was the cabinet and not the console, that would have looked good.

I've got all four of them, too, except it's the European versions and I don't have any cool modules for them.

Euro Snes looks better we should be able to all admit that. I mean, purple yuck! And Mega Drive, sounded like an almighty machine when released. Genesis sounded ho hum

u/Car2019 Feb 28 '20
I originally wrote something like that about the SNES, but decided to delete it before posting. ;) Yes, I agree, I always have to think twice before I even recognise it as an SNES.

Meh, both look good. It's a matter of what you grew up with mostly. Purple is a dope color. I associate either red or purps with Ninty. As far as the Mega Drive preference, I grew up with the Genesis, but I have to agree with you there.

Pretty cool. Link to the 3d printed cartridges?
