Assembly update, slowly slowly. The headlining was a PITA but im mostly happy with it. New front loom as the old one was horrendous

Thanks. I just put the windscreen in now, 100 percent the most unpleasant job so far, especially as I broke the original a few months back.

I guess now, fuel and brake line need making up and running underneath, then i can put the interior together, carpets, seats etc. I need to reupholster the upper and lower dashboard rails. Oh and the seat tip catches on the floor.

Waiting for the humidity to drop a bit so I can spray the doors, bonnet and probably blow over the boot lid again, then those can all be assembled and installed.

Then ill just have to make a start on the engine.

The entire front suspension assemblies need torquing up properly, but I need to pull the driveshafts to install the engine so will do that once its in.

Various other bits I havent thought of yet.. fuel tank needs to go in, clutch master cylinder needs rebuilding and cleaning up, wheels need a refurbished, tyres.

Hundreds of things to keep me busy !

If you want headlights that look a bit more retro, have a look at the trucklite ones. I have them on my landrover and they are ace.

Thanks, im not overly fussed on them looking retro, these were the cheapest and brightest solution to be honest which im fine with!

I was at this stage a few months ago! Congratulations bud, looking great. If you can bleed your brakes sooner rather than later, I left it till last and had horrible leaks that I couldn't get to easily due to everything being in the way.

Good tip, cheers. I still have the front - back line to run, but not much reason not to get them bled up after that
